How does the Bronya refer to herself in Chinese?

Bronya's pretty well-known for referring to herself as "the Bronya" in English, but a friend of mine who speaks Chinese tells me that Chinese doesn't have articles like that. Is there some other linguistic quirk that's used in Chinese when she says her own name?
