So I did my research on this product, seems to be capable of producing a lot more sanitizer than the Saltron Mini (30g vs 10g). Worried about a couple things here, and asking for advice...I have a new Sundance McKinley 680
#1 - I hear that saltwater can be corrosive to pumps and plumbing, can anybody elaborate on this and share experiences?
#2 - I checked the manual, and you can indeed use sodium bromide with the product instead of sodium chloride, effectively making it a saltwater bromine tub. Costs a LOT more to use NaBr instead of NaCl....would the difference in cost be worth it? I was told you can catch an odor from bromine compared to chlorine (says so in the product manual), but I know bromine is more resilient to hot water than chlorine.
Here is the product: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0184O0F3K?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
