Hello we just purchased a new cal spa Cancun x series with ozone to be delivered this Thursday. I would like to know if anyone has a mineral ionizer on their hot tub and does it work well with a spa. We have this on our in-ground fiberglass pool and now only have to shock once a month while using one tablet of chlorine per week (12800 gallon pool) so cost savings is their plus all family and friends tell us how the water is so clear and has no smell. So I’m 90% sure I want to add this to the hot tub but can’t find much info on how spas are doing with this system. Thanks for any info on experience with using this in a spa.
