Any ideas on what happened? Obviously it shorted somehow. It's a brand new board. SpaGuts Hot Tub Circuit Board Replacement VS500Z.
What they all said. The connection was likely too loose, and insulated wires are better and cheap from any online hot tub parts dealer. You may be able to find a repair shop that works on printed circuit boards that can just repair the board. I had this done for about 50 bucks several years ago when I had this same issue after replacing my board. Reinstalled very tightly with wires and no issue for years. Same on your power into the terminals. If not tight, the too will over heat due to resistance and melt the terminal block. Good luck.
