We have a new Marquis Vector21 which we absolutely love but i have noticed what looks like discoloration or maybe scaling on the chrome(?) Vanity plates that surround each seat jet. Looks like just one seat is affected the most. I add descaler weekly and keep on top of the water chemistry so not sure how this occurred honestly.
Anyway my main question is how can i remove this discoloration/scaling without damaging the finish? I checked the manual that came with the tub and there is no mention of what can be used to clean those plates. I am wondering whether just to use a solution of vinegar/water or citric acid/water but would appreciate any suggestions from people who have run into a similar issue with their hottubs.
