Chlorine high!

Post Body

Guys, I'm having an issue. We're not using chlorine, we're using bromine. However, total and free chlorine levels are coming up as high when bef6they were coming up at zero.

What would cause a high chlorine level when chlorine isn't being used?

How do I fix it?

None of the chemicals we're using have chlorine.

Side note - any recommendations for hardening the water? Supposedly it's really soft on the water test strips. Which is what I'm using for water testing the levels.

Thanks in advance for your help!
