Hot tub leak near bottom
Post Body

Hello, Hoping someone can help me with an issue. For a while my hot tub was leaking, and usually tightening the the nuts by the heater or motor would help. Now I’ve noticed it leaking from the bottom. I’m wondering if my hot tub is completely shot, or if it’s fixable.

Yes of course! I’ll go out in an hour or so and take some pictures. It’s currently drained

Yes I am aware of that. My friend who works for a pool/spa company showed me how to do that. There’s no leaks coming from there anyways

Thank you for responding. I think based on a previous response, I’m going to give it some love, because why not? The motor was replaced 2-3 years ago by a buddy of mine who works for a pool/spa company so it didn’t cost much.

But why deal with the hassle of getting some to pick it up and get a new one when I can tackle on a fun and probably frustrating task? 🤣

Thank you for your response! I will try that. I agree - this hot tub doesn’t owe me anything! I got it used in 2016 and it’s been a fantastic hot tub. I really would love to put in the TLC it needs rather than replacing it.
