Need some advice .. (star wars figures)

When clone wars anakin came available I immediately P.O.'d him with the intention of also ordering general obi-wan if he came available. Since he's a no show, and my hope for a release is diminishing, I'm this close to buying the mythos obi wan from sideshow.
The thing is, if general obi-wan were to become available in the future I feel like the mythos would be a waste so to speak. What would you all recommend?
