Picked jalapeƱos, sweet and habaneto. With red wine vinegar
Post Body

It's pretty good, adding star anise was a mistake.

My first attempt at making my own hot sauce 12 oz redwing vinegar 6 oz apple cider vinegar 1 Tbs Chipotle pepper 2 Tbs crushed red pepper 3 cloves star anise 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 Tbs Ginger

1/2 cup jalapeƱos 1/2 cup habaneros 1/2 cup sweet pepper

Pickle for a week, puree add pickling juice to texture, corn meal to thicken.

I like the overall flavor but the after taste of the star anise, I'm not a fan but my buddy loves it. He crushed the bottle I gave him.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
