While traveling for work, Mark checked into an old hotel on the outskirts of town. The place had a worn charm, but the receptionist's uneasy smile left him unsettled. His room, at the end of a dimly lit hallway, felt colder than the rest of the hotel.

That night, as he tried to sleep, he heard faint scratching from inside the walls. He shrugged it off, thinking it was just an old building creaking. But then, the bathroom light flickered on by itself. Mark got up to turn it off, only to find the mirror covered in what looked like fogged writing. It read, "Get out."

Thinking it was a prank, he wiped the mirror clean, but the message reappeared, clearer and more urgent. The temperature in the room dropped sharply, and in the reflection, he saw a shadowy figure standing behind him, too close to be real. He spun around, but the room was empty. Without a second thought, Mark grabbed his things and left. The next morning, he found out from a local that no one had stayed in that room for years—ever since the last guest disappeared without a trace.
