Requesting rooms

Wondering if anyone has requested rooms before with no one on either side or above/below, depending on what floor your on? You know, so no one complains about noise? If so, do most accommodate request? Or do you just not even worry about it? Whatever happens happens?
Trying to plan our first meet up and don’t want the party to end prematurely because of noise complaints!
