Am I expected to tip at extended stays through an employer?
Post Body

Just curious. i basically live out of hotels. My company pays for literally all of it- well, except the tip. I'm not making six figures or anything either, it's really not an incredibly well paying job, but enough to get by.

Now, thing is, I'm almost always putting the do not disturb sign up, as I often work night shifts and stay at the hotel during the day. They probably only clean my room once a week. But weird thing is I have tried leaving a tip before a few times and housekeeping doesn't take it.

In addition. Since my work pays, idk how much the bill is. I suppose I can make a rough guess but anyways, am I expected to tip in this scenario?
