I get that weed is a subject that many are divided on, but the thing is, I didn't agree to smoke or smell your weed. The smell comes through the vents and just demolishes the room I want to keep smelling nice, especially since I live in them for extensive periods. Your body, your choice, My body, not your choice.
For those who want to say "oh but its harmless!" That is completely false. I don't think it's as bad as needing to be criminalized again, but it is harmful enough to warrant being regulated the same as cigarettes. The harmful effects are similar, according to National Institute of Health:
"Many of the same carcinogenic, or cancer-causing, compounds present in tobacco smoke are also found in burning marijuana. In particular, unfiltered smoke from joints contains higher concentrations of a class of chemicals called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) than does smoke from tobacco cigarettes."
I've seen another sr where someone said they were upset because people got upset if they smoke it indoors or outdoors. First, let me say this: if it's your own property, do whatever you want. Second, okay, so you travel to another state where it's illegal. If it's so not harmful and addictive, why are you demanding to smoke it where you can't? (Glaucoma aside).
Ok, end rant.
