Had to make a security deposit for a hotel company, which was $200. Now I had to contact them to make a refund since the refund wasn’t made a month after staying. They did end up refund but it was only $194.
I know it’s only $6 and maybe I am being petty but I asked for them to refund the rest but they refused saying it’s the bank fee. I’m really confused about this as I never heard of that before. And even if it’s true is it my responsibility to pay that fee?
So I’m asking if bank changes fee related with security deposit or is the hotel just trying make up stuffs? Thanks.
