Grandpa (91) showing agitation and saying he's in pain
Post Body

It's making me physically ill seeing my grandpa like this. Twice today he's mentioned pain. My family is refusing to give him the morphine or Lorazapam and I don't know why! My mom said it's not like he's in pain 24/7 and my point of view is this: My grandpa is bedridden and nonresponsive 95% of the time. If he has enough energy to say he's in pain just 1 time, that's 1 too many times!

I feel like throwing up. I want to give him his Morphine and Lorazapam and make him comfortable but my family is trying to ween him off his Tremadol and give him Phoenix Tears instead. I'm all for holistic medicine but we're past that. Wtf is the point of that?!

I can't do this anymore.

(He fell months ago and got bleeding in his brain, sent to the hospital, then a rehab. He fell again in rehab and got more blood in his brain. He was released from rehab Oct 30th and came home to start hospice care.)
