Started working on a novel during the pandemic. Each chapter works as a self-contained short story, but they all connect, across a time spanning continuity, from the perspective of different characters, and presented in different writing styles. The back story is immense, but a massive central event it where it all leads climactically. Definitely a transgressive mix of horror and crime, with threads of noir and mystery.
Not sure if I should move forward. Not sure if the content is interesting. Not sure if my writing is engaging enough. Not sure of it's worth pursuing. I've never pursued a full on writing project, with a firm goal to legitimize, but I would if I got enough assurance that I'm composing something worthwhile. Help me evaluate. My conservative, thoroughly-uncreative absentee family has no interest in constructively participating.
Dm me to take this further.
