I’m trying to find books that I can read in short bursts — in the car, waiting for an appointment, on a 15 minute break or over my lunch. I’m not looking for kids novels, but I don’t want something super dense; just a story that maybe has relatively short chapters or a fairly straightforward plot or a limited cast of characters.
