Has anyone read it? I did a quick search of the subreddit and, tho I didn’t check every post, I didn’t see this mentioned (tho I did add it to a few of your recommendation request lists). I feel like I never hear it talked about which kinda blows me away. It’s been probably a decade since I last read it myself, but my memory is that it’s a solid, fun, thrilling time. I’m actually thinking about revisiting my copy, but I’d be interested to hear other opinions on it.

If you haven’t read it, check it out. It’s almost more action/sci-fi/horror, but it’s basically about an nearly unstoppable creature in the remote wilderness of Alaska that has already slaughtered numerous military personnel, so the government calls in Nathaniel Hunter, an expert tracker, to lead a kill team, track it, and eliminate it because it’s making its way towards civilization.

Sly Stallone actually optioned it about 10 years ago and was going to make it, replacing Hunter with Rambo so it’d kind of like Rambo vs Predator.
