Have the god awful, waste of time Trope of Mental Illness! I immediately lose respect for the author when this happens. It’s a trope for a reason and a terrible one at that.

If you cannot resolve your own ending of your own book and tie everting together then stop writing such outlandish things that waste a readers time.

Also NO STEPHEN KING recs 🫠 his books are well written , and enjoyable but they are suspense with horror elements AT BEST. Also if Pet Cemetery or The Shining scared you - we are not the same, move along.

I want something that will scare me in the best way! Not because it’s graphic or gorey just for shock value. Something that keeps me guessing and maybe isn’t quite what it seems.

Am I looking for a mythical unicorn 🦄 🤣 or does a book like this truly exist?? Help.
