This was my first Paul Tremblay book, and if the rest of his stories are anything like this - then I may have found my next binge worthy author. The story itself doesn’t ever become anything over the top horrifying, but builds so much suspense, and the characters are well written, dialogue (for the most part) is not cringey and less than 300 pages. Only took me 5 hours to read. I would definitely recommend this book if you haven’t read it yet, even though you probably have since it came out 2015.
