My favorites:
Dark Matter - Paver, Library at Mount Char - Hawkins, All the Fiends of Hell - Neville, The Teratologist - Lee and White,
DNF: Stephen Graham Jones, I just can't get into his books, The Good House - Due, Nestlings - Cassidy, The Haar - Sodergren
For about the past year I've been reading a ton of horror, and I have gotten so many fantastic recommendations here. Recently I've found myself a little stuck and can't decide what to read next. I like atmospheric "creepiness" and I also enjoy just ridiculousness a la Teratologist, Clown in a Cornfield, or Pilo Family Circus. I've read a few novels that were recommended here that weren't bad, I finished them, but I was disappointed in some way: Come Closer, Diavola, Hex, and Slewfoot. I almost really liked them, but for various reasons I wouldn't read again or recommend. Also, I've read a lot of King's books. I am mostly a fan. I like The Stand, Duma Key, It, Misery, etc. I didn't like Lisey's Story or Gerald's Game.
I hope someone will help me with a few new books to check out. Thanks y'all!
