My 1st movie was "It", I watched it when I was just 3-4 years old. I was hooked on horror ever since then. However now that I'm older and more wiser, horror movies seem overly cheesy. Like I am watching horror to genuinely be terrified, but I find myself yelling at characters who make stupid decisions, and it's at a point to where I can't enjoy horror because all the characters in it make horrible decisions almost 100% of the time (Like checking out strange noises in another room, saying "Hello?" when they don't know what's going on, hiding in the most vulnerable places when they could have escaped to a better spot, etc.) Can anyone relate? What horror is out there (could be sci-fi themed too) that will genuinely have me on the edge of my seat instead of yelling at the characters? I don't know where all the magic went, and it saddens me. I tried watching "All of us are dead" and it has a high IMDB rating, but I couldn't even get past the 2nd episode it was so cliche and cheesy, like I couldn't tell if the creators were trying to achieve satire or if they were completely serious about this series and just didn't think things through when they wrote it.
