In this demonic horror movie, you're a jubilant woman who can't wait to have her firstborn.

You were fortunate to fall in love with a morally upstanding, handsome, and successful man who's looking forward to raising your son into the proud heir of his corporate empire. But after months of an uneventful pregnancy, you suddenly begin to experience excruciating pains at night that prevent you from sleeping. Pains that originate in your womb and surge up into the back of your head. When you manage to sleep, you keep having dreams of a devil stroking your unborn son's forehead and calling him his own. You start to leak blood during your bowel movements, and, for whatever reason, you're becoming more and more irritable with your caring but fearful husband.

You're a Catholic family. After some time, your husband can't take anymore and makes an appointment for the two of you to see a priest. The priest takes his time examining aspects of your marriage and faith, and after a week of counseling and deliberating with other members of the clergy, comes to you with horrible news.

Your unborn son is the Antichrist, and if you allow him to be born he'll wreak unspeakable doom on the known world, sending every single soul spiraling down into the darkest and most fearsome pits of Hell. He says that the church has a holy procedure that will cleanse you of your impurity and strike this threat from your body; essentially an abortion. He recommends that you do it as soon as possible, considering that you've already started to show. The Antichrist simply cannot be allowed to be born.

You're shocked. What he's told you is surely entirely unbelievable. You've heard of the Antichrist before, but never took the idea seriously. Your unborn son? The Antichrist? There's just no way. You ask your husband what he thinks and he sadly states that the priest knows best. Your child should be destroyed. But you're just not sure. Maybe your issues are purely medical? You're almost convinced that you're being told absolute nonsense, even though a voice in the back of your mind whispers that the priest could be right. His words could be true.
