If you're into haunted forests, evil trees, demonesses, not deer, killer parents,, babysitters fed to the basement, you'll like this one.
I highly recommend this movie and I feel like it's underrated. It was actually number 1 at the box office for 6 weeks when it came out in 2020. It's written and directed by The Pierce Brothers and I think it's their first film.
Its fresh, there's twists, it's pretty well written and not over or under acted. The special effects are great and it's an original story.
Some other films I'd compare it to would be the Conjuring and Amityville Horror but it's not a haunted house story.
It's just something evil that makes a very memorable entrance into our dimension, one of my favorite I've ever seen in a horror movie.
It was on Netlfix for a long time, now it's on AMC and/or Prime if you want to give it a watch. The Wretched.

And I'm pretty sure these are real teens playing teens or close to it rather than 28 year olds which adds to the realism. I like the main kids' performance.
