This might be a complaint in general about movies setting the tone but i’m so tired, especially in modern horror movies of us being shown something dramatic early on before getting the actual film. For me, it somewhat can take away the actual thrill and scare of it. I feel it’s overdone and we should just get the build up. I really only see build up in found footage. It might just be a me thing but something I wanted to complain about.
