Help me identify this winter/Christmas movie

I saw it years ago with my husband where these kids were coming back from college and got stuck in snow... a weird song would play on the radio and you would see someone or something outside? That was the premise of the whole movie. Everytime THAT song played something happened. We cannot remember the name of it for our life... thanks in advance if anyone can help. It was definitely not new, maybe in the 2000s?
