I always enjoy horror that slowly increases the dread for the viewer and so off a recommendation I recently watched Ringu . I love that <!Sadako is not revealed in the beginning>!nd that we have to witness our protagonist Asakawa desperately try to save her life as well as her partner and son’s life. It could be argued that the film is slow, but learning Sadako’s backstory and the ticking clock of only 7 days makes for an engaging every move count. The final scenes involving <!the bottom of the well and Sadako’s reveal and the professor’s death at the end>!got me emotional and scared at the same time. For those who love movies with slow builds I fully recommend this film.
