Post Body

Hey y'all, I'm currently a music ed student (primary instrument is euphonium) and I'm learning horn in my brass methods class. I'm really enjoying it and would like to try to play more outside of what we do for class a) for fun, and b) to get a better sense of how to play/teach it- most of the stuff we do is really simple and I feel like it isn't pushing me at all. Do you know of any standard (or even just enjoyable) solo horn material for early-intermediate high school level stuff I could try to learn? And if anyone has good horn pedagogical tips I'd love to hear those, too! Thanks!
