If we could have machines to mount on land, and Sunwings the sky, it would be great if there were fish-like machines we could ride underwater. I was underwhelmed to find out our sea mount was a copy of the Sunwing and it's hard to control too.

With the Waterwing, I couldn't slip into smaller and narrow paths inbetween rock formations underwater. I had also hoped having a water mount would make catching fish better but unless you perfectly time it, when you press triangle, your machine would just do a barrel roll instead of catching the fish.. and it gets pretty annoying.

On top of that, it would be easier if we could aim and shoot our bows while riding a flying mount as well. We can do it land mounts and considering 70% of the DLC was traversing through the sky, being given the ability to shoot from above would be nice.

Maybe the devs are holding on to that thought and didn't want to spoil the players by giving us everything in Burning Shores. The 3rd game might be the end of Aloy's journey so let's hope they go all out and give us more accessibility relating to mounts.
