Shika Electroplated Stem Issues

Hey y'all, long time reader, first time poster.
I bought a red Shika Electroplated hookah ages ago. The stem is gorgeous but extremely heavy. I used the vase that came with it and even when full of water on a flat surface, this hookah has never been very stable.
I've stopped using it at all because I am so nervous it will tip over!
Has anyone else had this experience? What have y'all done to solve this problem?
