What could the issue be? The flavour/taste I get from smoking is way different (and disgusting imo) The hookah itself is new, I rinsed it with water including the hose, what could be the cause?

The bowls are both unglazed Egyptian clay, also new so no other flavours smoked in it, the bowls themselfs smell the EXACT same as the tobacco does, very good and nice smell, but the second I smoke on the hookah it tastes awful, it isn’t burned aswell, what could be the cause of this?

EDIT; i canmt see some of you guys that commented for some reason, It is the blue mist from starbuzz and even tho it may taste weird, I have smoked blue mist before, alot in hookah kounges and it indeed did smoke the exact same as the tobacco (which I have)

So it must be something with me because if I smell my bowl right now I smell exactly the same flavour I used to get from hookah lounges

EDIT 2.0; smoking the first bowl now it was fine for a few minutes but the smell came back again?! I also smoked it with different brand coals. I took out the grommet and used paper towel to secure the bowl tocsee if that would make the difference. I don’t get it anymore I really don’t, could it be weird thing on the stem?

EDIT 3.0; to make sure the hookah I bought is from a shop in Germany (did not come out of package rather showcase) he said it wasn’t the original khalil mamoon but the ‘german variant’ of it, could that be something? I paid €60 for it.
