Moved to NY High Rise. No smoking in the building. One smoke detector in the apartment. (Put a plastic bag on it?

Can heat the coals near a window with the window propped open.Have smoked in a high rise before, but not as cramped as this. Concern is keeping the hookah smell in the apartment and not in the hallways. Whenever I open the apartment door to the hallways, I can always smell cooking from the the neighbors. So i can only imagine if I'm smoking, its going to leak into the hallway.

Left my Cloud Micro in California since I'll be here for only year. Lots of similar knockoffs on amazon to the crown micro for fraction of the cost, worth buying or no?
