Last night I went to dinner with my boyfriend. A team of young softball players sitting at a table all turned and erupted into laughter. Then proceeded to take pictures of me and call me a wo-MAN the rest of my meal. I just sat in silence the rest of the evening, eventually getting up to go cry in the car. Being trans is so tiring but I feel bad complaining because at some point I chose to give in and transition. Iām honestly more disappointed in their parents because this behavior is learned.
