The 'sissy community' is fundamentally anti-trans. (Inspired by a recent post on r/mtf)
Oftentimes trans people end up exploring their identity through porn and sexual content (as does everyone nowadays) and usually this ends in finding the sissy community. But instead of being a space where trans people can be recognized and start to accept their identity, the sissy fetish pushes these people into the closet.
The sissy fetish is based on the humiliation of losing one's masculinity by being feminized. The dehuminization of women aside, when trans people encounter this fetish, they percieve the humiliation and feminization as being the same thing. Additionally, their trans thoughts get painted over as being a fetish that many men think as well. None of this is true, and the end result of the sissy community is delaying transition, or outright preventing it, for all those unlucky enough to encounter it.
Many trans people even know this has happened to them, but they don't see it as a problem because "it's just a fetish." Fetishes are not inherently harmless.
The sissy community internalizes this fear and humiliation of being trans in those that take part in it. I hate the sissy community and until this changes, they ought to be criticized
Edit: 'marginalized' is harsh and not what I meant, so I removed it.
