Battery charging and tender question

Post Body

Hi folks,

So as stated in my earlier posts, i was having an issue with my bike not starting and a running light being out.

Fortunately i had a buddy fix some wiring issues resolving my light problem, but bike still isnt starting.

I have a fairly new shorai lithium battery that was clocking in at 9.4 volts yesterday. I had a mobile mechanic loan me a tender yesterday and 24 hours later im at 10.3 volts. He tried starting the bike, it wouldn't start. He kinda said to himself "its not the battery..its not the battery..well maybe.." then proceeded to tell me I probably need a new battery

My question is should i keep putting it/ leave on the tender (new one i ordered came in 10 mins ago and i have it hooked up) and hope it comes back to life, or am I assed out and have to get a new battery?

Ive heard stories of dead batteries coming to life after 30-40 hours of charging, but would like to hear other's opinions.

This is for a 2014 shadow spirit, 5k miles

Thanks in advance
