Towing a Trailer with 2019 Honda Pilot

I recently added the tow package to my 2019 Honda Pilot. The maximum weight is $3,500 I believe. It's not the AWD model.
My brother in law advised me that I'm only able to tow a trailer with one set of tires/single axis. Is this true?
