I want to update my current 5.1 system to a 5.2 or stay with a 5.1 depending on what everyone thinks.

Room Size: 12x12 opens up to the Kitchen(10 feet away from the speakers)

Current Equipment: AVR: Denon 1612, L/R:Sony Towers- SS-MF550H, Center: Bose, Sub: Velodyne CT80, & Surrounds: Polk Audio T15

Budget: $1500 not including the subwoofers. I am looking to get the most out of my budget.

I will be upgrading to a 4K TV this year and not sure if the group recommends upgrading the avr to 4K.

Thank you everyone for the help. Mostly will ve used for movies, video games, and music(In that order).
