TV's above fireplace so no room for soundbar beneath it

Post Body

Hello!

I'm submitting this for my brother in law, but I'm trying to help him figure out what the best/cost effective solution to his speaker situation is. He has a TV above his fireplace (he uses the fireplace and the TV is far enough away to not be affected) but a soundbar underneath would likely be too close. It's also up fairly high so I'm not sure mounting a soundbar above it makes sense and he's trying to limit the amount of wires coming from the TV because he currently has to string them along the bricks.

What do you think is the best solution to this? His TV is new enough to have an ARC HDMI. Is there a solution to have speakers off to the side where you dont have to connect them via wires? I know Roku has that but you need a Roku TV for that to work without a soundbar.

Thank you again for your advice!
