So I'm more knowledgeable in car audio, but by no means anywhere near an expert. Home audio is a bit different and haven't had much experience with it. I have some Logitech Z623 2.1 PC speakers. They sound pretty good for what they are and I currently have them hooked up to my TV (optical to RCA) and a bluetooth receiver (aux). I have to manually get up and adjust the volume knob though and it is annoying me, and my gf isn't too thrilled either. Especially when Netflix is always quieter than games or TV. TV speakers suck. Also my TV only has 3 HDMI inputs, so I was thinking of getting an AV Receiver for remote controlled volume, more HDMI ports, and future speaker expansion. Is seems no receivers have RCA out or AUX out, only in. at least at the receivers I'm looking at ($400ish). Only audio outputs seem to be through speaker wire. Some have "Zone 2" and maybe I could use that? Just seeing if I can keep using these speakers and add onto/replace the setup later with actual speakers with speaker wire. If this idea is that dumb, just let me know. Thanks for any help!
