I have run audyssey many times. My room layout sucks but it's the best I can do with what I have. The couch is against the wall. A reclining chair is on either side of the couch and end tables on the ends of those. My surround speakers currently sit on those end tables as mounting is not an option right now.
I've read a lot of things/suggestions about people turning front speakers up in Hz, or setting speakers to small, etc...but I am going to be honest, I don't know anything about any of this and I am still trying to learn.
When I used audyssey and I turned dynamic EQ on and left Volume EQ off, my surrounds sounded horrible and too quite/muffled/distorted in certain content like youtube videos, but sounded good in Dolby Vision Test videos on the Dolby App.
I currently have it calibrated with audyssey and left Dynamic EQ on with Volume EQ set to light.
I will post the numbers that audyssey gave me when I get home, but I could really use some help in adjusting and figuring out what to do.
My current speakers setup is as follows:
Front L/R - Elac B5's - Currently Set to Large
Center - Elac C5 - Currently Set to Large
Sub - Polk PSW108 (I got it for 30 bucks, gonna use it for now)
Surround - Polk OWM3 - Currently Set to Small
Atmos - two Elac A4 (front Dolby) - Currently Set to Small
Seriously thank you so much if you can help me!!!!!!!!
