Running into issues with new set up.

I can’t see the get the subwoofer to work. When I first tried it the denon went into “speaker protection mode” right when the base was supposed to hit in a song. All the other speakers work fine. The sub sounds like it has no power. Also not sure how to put into the denon. Sub has red white, denon has two black and one says pre out. All brand new klipsch RPs
