Where to place on-ceiling speakers in my 5.1.2 room?

Hi all! Trying to decide where to mount height speakers on my (flat, 9 ft) ceiling. Going to be mounting the Cambridge Audio Minx 12s. Room is 19 ft in length and 12.5 ft wide. MLP is on my sectional against the back and right walls (cannot change).
I cannot do in-ceiling speakers.
Questions:
- How far in front of my MLP I should place the ceiling speakers?
- How close to the right and left walls?
- Should they be pointing straight down or toward MLP?

Currently have a 5.1 set up with an Onkyo NR6100, Monitor Audio Silver RX-8s, MA Bronze Center, and MA BX-1s as surrounds.
