Hey everyone, my tv wall is shared with the garage. I currently have a console at the ground with a hole that fishes wires up to the tv higher up, through the wall and out at the top. I have a Roku, PS5, Switch, and an Apple TV. Because it’s an “outside wall”, I’m using the thicker rated hdmis, and because of that the tv is on a pivot mount and sits quite a bit away from the wall. That wall faces the kitchen and kind of looks like crap.
I’d like to get rid of the console and have just the tv and soundbar hanging flat on the wall. I want to mount the electronics feeding into the tv on the inside wall of the garage. I feel like this would make the inside look so clean and save space. I’m worried about the electronics being in the garage and the hole being open into the house.
Thoughts on this?
