Considering on upgrading my system to Klipsch R-820’s, a RC-42 II, and an R-120 sub. Any advice?

I’m a noob when it comes to hifi. I’m just starting out. Wanting to upgrade my speakers and I see Klipsch has a sale going for these items. I’ve heard mixed reviews. Some people say they’re great, others say it’s mediocre equipment. I would also need a surround sound receiver and am looking for suggestions on that as well. I don’t have a particular budget, but would like to stay under $1000 for all. So I know that limits my options
