Hi there! :-)
My instruments include a Shure USB/XLR microphone, bass guitar, electric guitar, keyboard synthesizer w/MIDI, and a little Launchkey Mini MIDI controller/control surface with a USB out.
If you're unfamiliar, the Tascam is not only a mixer but a multitrack recorder. Unfortunately it does not have MIDI, which would have been handy.
Right now I am using the Tascam's inputs for the guitars, keyboard, and mic, then running the sub bus (?) outputs to the MPC's inputs, then running the MPC outs to my monitors. That has worked okay; I'm still learning the MPC One. :-) I have the Launchkey Mini going into the MPC via USB.
Today I've been exploring my options for using MPC with Ableton but I haven't found a good solution. One of my goals was to find a way use the MPC to control Ableton but I haven't found a good way to do that. My second choice would be to bring the MPC to Ableton but the same, I haven't found a good way to do that. The how-to videos I found on YouTube for this kind of thing have only used Macs and involve a MIDI setup software on the Mac to link things up between the MPC and Ableton.
Thanks in advance!
