Since there's been a lot of interest in my cellar in other post, here's the full tour.
I built it in the back corner of my basement. I have a 6 inch pipe and fan that goes outside with a filter for an intake with a 6 inch exhaust that goes back outside on the other side of the house. I have a timer so the fan runs every 12 hours for 15 minutes to help with air exchange.
I also have a temp control to run the fan if it's colder than 45f outside to keep it cool. I also use the AC to keep it cool when it's to warm outside to cool it. I keep it around 55 once I start storing squash.
I run a power meter just to see how much it cost and normally its around $30-$40 a year
If you have any questions on anything feel free to ask.
Ps I also have 3 deep freezers full of meat and other fruits and veggies
What a dream!
Omg if you ever wanna have a cool-ass conversation about what you do, I’d love to bring you onto my Podcast “Cool-Ass Conversations”
