I would like to learn more about home security systems that I can set of myself. However I don't know anything about home security systems so I was wondering if there are any good guides that explain the various types of technologies and how the system works so it can best fit my need?
I don't know what to buy let alone what to look for.
Right now all that I know is I want something where the cameras are not battery powered and I don't want it to be a cloud system. However I still want to be able to get into the monitoring system with my phone.
