Spouse and I have decided to go all in on our starter home and make it our forever home which involves an addition and some upgrades. Now that we have decided to truly customize our home to our lives and growing family, I’m curious if there are upgrades/quirks that have made a difference to you but might not have a “resale benefit”.
Decorative faceplate on all the outlets and light switches. Those squared off ones that snap into place to hide the screws look SO much better than the standard covers, but they add up fast so it's not worth it unless you're going to be there a while.
