Need advice on ceiling paint

Iām trying to get a smooth black finish on my bedroom ceiling but this is the first coat and it has the roller streaks in the light. Any tips or tricks?

Needs another coat and make sure you are always painting along the wet edge. If you are painting against a dry (or drying) edge then it's going to leave more obvious marks.

Also, get a flat finish. The more Sheena the more visible it will be

I love a master bedroom with dark painted ceilings to match the walls. It's very cave like and makes for a cozy sleeping environment. That said, it can make the space feel smaller so I usually only do it in the master since it's usually big enough.
