Hello everybody,
I kind of have an embarrassing question that I never really got around to ask anyone but that always kept me up a little. When I record vocals with one condenser microphone, that is by definition a Mono recording, right? How do I manage to mix it such that in the end this results in a stereo audio? Do I need to record a second take on top? Do I need to artificially double the track in my DAW? Do I need to do nothing?
I've literally not known the answer to this in years and it is driving me a bit nuts. It would be great if someone could explain it to me ...
